Buckhead
Atlanta's most prestigious neighborhood is composed of high-rises, exclusive
townhomes and many custom one-of-a-kind Georgian and Neoclassical mansions. Home
to over 100 restaurants and nightclubs, this area has become Atlanta's hottest
nightspot. Located in the heart of Buckhead, the center for design and fashion
is the Famous Phipps Plaza, Lenox Mall and numerous specialty shops.

Ansley Park
Ansley Park is a wooded oasis in the heart of the city located just north of
downtown near the Midtown Business Center and the famous High Museum of Arts.
Built in the early 1900's, this majestic area with its parks and gardens is one
of Atlanta's premier residential areas. Easy accessibility to I-75 and 85.

Virginia Highlands
Virginia Highlands is named after its location at the intersection of Virginia
and North Highland Avenues. It is noted for its renovations of 60-80 year old
homes, as well as its 50 year old shopping district. The streets are lined with
a variation of blues and jazz clubs, unique boutiques and retail stores. It has
become the second most popular nightlife destination in Atlanta, after Buckhead.

Morningside
Morningside, one of Atlanta's most popular and diverse neighborhoods is located
in the Northeast section of the city. English Tudors, older homes and Spanish
architecture built in the 1920's and the 1930's are common in the area. It has a
great shopping district and hosts some of Atlanta's finest restaurants.

North Lake / Oak Grove
North Lake is a family oriented community located just Northeast of Atlanta.
It's close in proximity to Emory and CDC. Its favorable tax base has made it a
popular place to live. Homes in the area consist of brick ranches on larger,
heavily wooed lots as well as numerous new construction cluster homes.

Druid Hills
Druid Hills is one of the most successful and affluent residential communities
in Atlanta and is listed on the National Register for Historic Places. The area
is noted for its winding streets of Tudor, Georgian and Traditional two-story
style architecture. Most homes sit on large wooded estate-like lots. The
community is bordered by Callanwolde, Emory University and Fernbank Museum. This
neighborhood has an interesting combination of older, more established families
and college students.

Decatur
Decatur is the oldest city in DeKalb County. Older brick homes, smaller bungalows
and cottage homes are abundant in the area. The square is the gathering place
for neighborhood festivals, entertainment, shopping and dining. Easy
accessibility to all major expressways.

Avondale Estates
Avondale is located east of Decatur. Most of the homes are English Tudors built
in the 1920's. The business district is a unique area that resembles a Bavarian
village. Recent interest in the area has led to new construction.

Downtown / Midtown
Downtown is experiencing a transition in housing. Urban pioneers are creating
lofts, many of which were designed from old warehouses. Just north of here Midtown is
characterized by old refinished houses and new high-rise condominiums. Piedmont
and Centennial Park nearby host Atlanta's largest outdoor gathering spots for
concerts, art festivals and celebrations. The alternative lifestyle crowd,
singles and young professionals call this place home.

Inman Park
Inman Park with just over 300 homes in various stages of restoration is located
just 2 miles from the center of downtown Atlanta. Built in the 1880's, it was
Atlanta's first wealthy suburb. It features some of the finest two-story
Victorian homes anywhere. The people who live in the area now describe it as a
"Small Town Downtown."

Candler Park / Lake Claire
This cool community of older 1920's brick and frame bungalows is popular with
Atlanta's artistic crowd. This reviving area is characterized by a mix of people
and lifestyles. Residents enjoy the convenience of nearby shops, eclectic dining
and small businesses in "Little 5 Points." Atlanta's example
reminiscence of New York's Greenwich Village.

Grant Park / East Atlanta Village
This turn of the century neighborhood is located next to Zoo Atlanta and Grant
Park. A mix of bungalows and Victorian homes rich with architectural detail,
high ceilings and heart of pine floors are common to the area. A renaissance in
East Atlanta Village has made it the new district for nightlife, artistic dining
and shopping.
